Helsinki, Finland is the home of Dead Shape Figure, a Melodic Death Metal quintet planning a new EP via Inverse Records for release in the final quarter of 2020. The first bite from the record is “Composition X”, a track that takes on traditional Death Metal lyrical themes…
Dead Shape Figure singler Galzi explains: “Composition X is inspired by Umberto Eco’s The Name Of The Rose. It’s a parallel story where the whole human race is a Benedictine Monastey. A test laboratory with power struggles and sectarianism though all knowledge and intelligence offered. It’s an observation of an outsider from mankind’s peak of destruction.”
