The Psychedelic Sludge artists formerly known as God Root have shared a visualisation for the title track of their upcoming new album “The Starving Lesson“. Due out via Riff Merchant Records on 14th July, the record from Quiet Man was mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna) and is a journey through the self destructive patterns of humanity…

The band comments: “The title track, “The Starving Lesson” is the culminating track on the record. It is probably most powerful within the context of the full record, but we also thought it would be good to share with y’all because we think it is the track that best captures what we mean when we call this music ‘car wreck psychedelia’. We try to bring an element of physicality to our live shows and I think this track is where that really comes through on record as well. To me, it feels like the sound of a body bubbling over with anxiety and potential and being pushed into doing something powerful, l but I expect other people might get other sensations out of it. If you have the time and inclination to check it out sitting down or with a good pair of headphones I think it might get under your skin. Like those good Sunn O))) boys always say: ‘Maximum volume yields maximum results'”
