NEWS: Broken Earth escape the covenant?

Once again returning to their dream team of Mark Williamson (Inertia, Closure) to handle production with mastering by Kris Crummet (Sleeping With Sirens, Dance Gavin Dance), Australian Nu-Metalcore merchants Broken Earth have offered up their second single of the year in “Covenant“. Another sonic evolution, it finds the band growing in strength and stature while thematically detailing the process of acknowledging fault and embarking on a road to recovery…

Vocalist Raphael Smith comments: “There have been times in my life where I have hit rock bottom, or had to hard reset. Whether that’s due to addiction, depression or anxiety, there’s a point I no longer recognise the person in the mirror, and with that comes the sobering realisation of who the people around me have gotten to know and the hell that I have brought along with my darkest moments.”
