NEWS: Vilify unveil “Dread Addict”!

Having surpassed 260k of Spotify streams alone for the ten songs they have released thus far, it surely can’t be long before Australian Metalcore quartet Vilify break out of their homeland and start touring overseas. Produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Blancato (Northlane, Reliqa, Bare Bones) and accompanied by a music video directed, filmed and edited by Karl Stellar Media (Gravemind, Bad Juju, Mélancolia), track number eleven from the outfit is titled “Dread Addict“. A cut about being addicted to the lows and acting out to feel in control of that reality, it finds them playing off haunting undertones and softer clean vocal moments against the harsh lead lines that match their usual intensity…

Vocalist Amy McIntosh comments: “When I am at my lowest with no explanation I find myself doing the worst of the worst. Acting like a person I don’t recognise just to have a reason to feel the way I feel. It’s almost as if nothing logical is making me feel this shitty… I better go give myself a reason to feel shitty.”
