NEWS: i Helvete premier “One Common Society”!
As their concept album “Yksi Yhteinen Yhteiskunta” (or “One Common Society“) arrives, Finnish Extreme Metal band i Helvete have fired one last warning shot with a lyric video for the title track. Mixed and mastered by Second To Sun frontman Vladimir Lehtinen (Grima, Ultar) and combining Melodic Black and Death Metal, Inverse Records are distributing the monstrosity to the four far flung corners of the Globe.
The record tells the story of “a movement that sees the direction of the modern world as doomed. Preserving the sustainability of the planet requires extensive, radical actions. The agenda is the great reset, where the vast majority of people will be eliminated. With the new Big Bang, the chosen people will rise from the ashes to build a new world”.
Singer-guitarist Aleksi Mäkelä comments on the new album: “For our second album, we wanted a sound as authentic as possible. In the recordings, we tried to find a complete package for the sounds and effects, so there would be no need to do, for example, reamping. In addition, the violin, accordion and piano tracks were recorded with the help of session musicians. Virtual instruments are therefore hardly heard on this record. These measures turned out to work correctly and the album has an authentic, raw and massive sound. Yksi Yhteinen Yhteiskunta is growing all the time. There will be more and more instruments and the tempo increases as it progresses further. This song doesn’t contain singing. It is a speech – or actually the manifesto of our movement.”
