NEWS: Mortal Chains feel the weight of the World on their shoulders?

Currently the solo project of guitarist and vocalist Martin Elliott, Mortal Chains have a sophomore EP “Committed to Flames” set for 5th April. Consisting of six songs, written by and performed by Elliott alongside former members Ross Smith on bass and Alex Connor on drums, the record has been preceded by “Weight of Ages“, a single that features a guest vocal appearance from Kat Shevil Gillham (Thronehammer, Nine Altars, Winds of Genocide).

Recorded and produced by Neil Combstock at Rocking Horse studios in Durham, the EP features cover artwork from photographer Howy White and model Thorn Faustus. The CD edition includes further photography from Howy and Thorn along with live photography by Dan Kearns (DAK Imaging) and disc artwork by Sara Elliott, as well as lyrics for each song.
