NEWS: Ghostheart Nebula hear the call of the “Orphan Of Light”!

The voices call from the abyss as Italian Cosmic Doom Metal act Ghostheart Nebula offer another sacrifice from their upcoming new album “Blackshift” in “Orphan Of Light”. A song is full of masterful dynamic shifts and its sound is all enveloping, with as much power in the quietest moments as in the gargantuan riffs, it further evidences the fields of Funeral and Death Doom Metal with Post-Rock and Black Metal moments that the band call their home. Adorned by artwork from Heike Langhans (Lord Of Shadows, Remina, Sojourner) the record will appear on 17th October via Meuse Music Records having been mixed and mastered by Øystein G. Brun (Borknagar, The Troops Of Doom, Sojourner).

The band comment: “Contrasts is the key word with ‘Orphan Of Light’. On one side the desperate cries of a son who seeks spiritual comfort in the astral figure of the ‘Mother Light’, in a limbo made of rarified atmospheres, spatial synths and explosive crescendos. The track moves in this dualism between light and void in which all the instruments chase each other in a roller coaster of emotions that perfectly paints the meaning of the entire Blackshift and marks the closure of the album.”
