NEWS: Hellevate deal in rage after cruelty!

It might sound like a song title which Atilla might chose but Kansas City Thrash powerhouse Hellevate have unleashed “Rage Dealers” as a single to act as the bridge between the bands previous EP “The Purpose Is Cruelty” and a new album. Lyrically, the band continues to deliver powerful messages with intensity, a refreshing approach in an era where artistic symbolism often takes center stage.

The band comment: “In the process of writing our next album, we realized we had so many songs we liked that we felt we needed another way to get them out. So, we decided to release a standalone single or two, otherwise we’d end up writing a double album! “Rage Dealers” about how there seems to be a constant incentive to keep everyone angry and miserable. The news and social media are the most obvious culprits, but it’s really everywhere! It’s the easiest way to get and maintain attention these days. You get hooked with some provocation, and you keep coming back, every time seeking out a little bit more than the last time. It really can be addicting. And you can see the effects it has on people all around you. We didn’t intend to make a video for it, but in joking around about potential video ideas, we realized we actually had an idea we felt was strong. It was a lot of fun to make, and we’re excited for everyone to hear it!”
