NEWS: Fractal Universe sow the seeds of hate?

French Progressive Death Metal force Fractal Universe have admitted that their next opus “The Great Filters” will arrive on 4th April 2025 via new label home M-Theory Audio. “The Seed of Singularity” has been chosen as a first taste of what that may sound like as the celebrated artists, known for their ability to push the boundaries of metal, combining heavy riffs, melodic elements and jazz influences expose themselves once more.

Vocalist and guitarist Vince Wilquin comments: “’The Seed of Singularity’ talks about a dystopian future where our society reaches the technological singularity–a point of no return where technological progress becomes uncontrollable and irreversible In such a  future, humans cease to be the ‘dominant’ species and have been surpassed, even in fields we thought were specific to humankind, such as art. The music video shows a painter that has become a mere tool, as she’s plugged to a machine that guides her every move.”
