NEWS: Aversed get burned…

Directed and edited by NohJun Park, Aversed are celebrating the arrival of their new album “Erasure of Color” via M-Theory Audio with a music video for “Burn“. It’s a showcase of the power of new vocalist Sarah Hartman but if you want to know what we thought, check out our review.

The band comment: “We shot the ‘Burn’ video at our home base venue – the Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We unleashed our videographers into the packed crowd to brave the pit and capture the energy of the show – and they survived! Happy to have captured that amazing show for all eternity. The first iteration of ‘Burn’ originally came about when Sungwoo wanted to write an anthemic song for big stages. Naturally, when we finished arranging it together, it had a full-on rumba-clave section and a bass solo. And then I wrote lyrics espousing violent class revolution – not exactly typical anthem material! However, I think the final product is really a great picture of Aversed – combining a series of chaotic elements into a cohesive piece that is both catchy, and evocative”
