Rabidfest 2025: Breaking Down The Bands #3: Lethal Evil!

When it comes to Rabidfest, the Oxford hordes love a bit of fresh blood and they don’t come much fresher than Lethal Evil. A Death Thrash band who love themselves a bit of Pantera style groove, the four piece formed in 2022 and played their first ever show on 3rd February 2023 at The Dev in the heart of Camden. That was just the beginning as the three horsemen of the apocalypse competed in London’s Metal 2 The Masses competition that year, reaching the finals. That was enough to see them given the call and they went on to perform at Bloodstock Open Air on August 9th 2024, an event headlined by Opeth, Architects and Amon Amarth. All that happened before the outfit had even released their debut single “We Fight“, an uppercut that was followed more recently by “Lone Wolf” as the riff merchants soften us up for the shape of punk to come.

Wait? How does a band without any music committed to tape on any platform manage to play at a major festival? It’s not what you know but who and the reputations of these three mighty warriors speak for themselves. That’s because you will know them by the trail of the dead left in their wake having prior convictions in Savage Messiah, The Heretic Order and Sanguinem, meaning they have a wealth of experience with which to create music capable of tearing a hole or two in the space time continuum. Thus far the unholy trinity that are drummer Ernie, aka Evil E, vocalist and guitarist Juan Pablo, aka JP Lethal and of course bassist Charlie aka Diabolical C have shown what they are capable of, now its time for all out mosh pit violence!

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Moshville Times, Moshville Radio, Metalplanetmusic, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification and main stage sponsor Devolution Magazine. The Festival is all for charity and this year the profits will be going to the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation!

Rabidfest will take place at The Bullingdon in Oxford over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd November 2025:
