NEWS: Ashen smash and devour!

As we all know, 22nd August will see the arrival of “Leave the Flesh Behind” from Perth Australian Death Metal act Ashen. Adorned by artwork from Giannis Nakos (Vile Species, Crepitation, Evergrey) at Remedy Art Design in Greece having been mixed and mastered by Marko Tervonen (Duskwalker, The Crown, Sulfuric) at Studio MT in Sweden, the album has been preceded by single “Devourer” in music video form with pre-orders available over at bandcamp

The band comment: “This ten-track monolith drags listeners deep into a shadow realm where the mortal coil is cast off and only the unknown remains. Conceptually rooted in the severance of the mortal form and the dark and the speculative realms that may lie beyond, the album is a brooding exploration of death, transcendence, and what remains when the flesh decays”
