NEWS: Brotthogg reach the hour of death!

Three weeks after they gave us a teaser for their upcoming album “Ved Veis Ende” (or “At the End of the Road“), Norwegian Extreme Metal act Brotthogg have offered up the first full track in “I Daudastund” (or “In the Hour of Death“). Set for a 15th September grand unveiling, it will once again blur the lines between Black and Melodic Death Metal with technical precision, drawing inspiration from bands like Emperor, Dissection and Old Man’s Child. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp

The band comment: ““I Daudastund” blends icy black metal atmospheres with razor-sharp riffing and dark melodic passages — a tribute to the band’s late ’90s roots in bands like Subliritum. Lyrically inspired by Norwegian folklore, the track explores the figure “Mannen med ljåen” (the Grim Reaper).
