NEWS: Sterilizing The Deceased enter the recovery phase!
A record we reviewed back in August, the emotionally charged EP “Nothing” from Cleveland based Melodic Deathcore outfit Sterilizing The Deceased is one that needs to be heard to be believed. Continuing the promotional campaign around that in the finest possible way the band have shared a gripping music video for “Recovery”, a track that dives deep into themes of personal reflection, addiction, and the struggle to find light in overwhelming darkness. Following the narrative of the record as a whole, blurring the lines between fiction and reality on a journey through drug addiction and suicidal ideation, inspired by the battles of vocalist Angelo Vespucci. Imagery that evokes resistance, pain, and redemption fills the video, amplifying the emotional weight and lyrical intensity of the track itself.
Vocalist Angelo Vespucci comments: “This song is about wondering where things went wrong and why they had to change. It’s the beginning of a story that’s deeply personal to me, and I wanted the visuals to reflect that internal war”
