Interview: Deez Nuts talk “Saudade” with Belgian Jasper!

Deez Nuts vocalist JJ Peters is the man in the hot seat for an interview with Belgian Jasper about their new album “Saudade“, a 31st October arrival via Century Media. Recording in Portugal with a new rhythm section of Apolinário “Poli“ Correia (Devil In Me, Sam Alone & The Gravediggers, Portugal) and Jesse Labovitz (No Warning, Canada) they stumbled across the album title.

Saudade is a Portuguese and Galician term that describes a deep emotional state of melancholic longing for someone or something that is absent. It originates from the Latin word for solitude. This feeling is often linked with the understanding that the object of longing might never come back again. The word Saudade covers memories of feelings, experiences, places, or events that evoke a sense of separation from the joy they once brought.
