NEWS: Terror Corpse warn of the intense heat of the funeral pyre!

Set to headline the Metal and Beer Pre-Fest event in Denver, Colorado on 4th December are Terror Corpse, a band who describe their sound simply and perhaps ominously as “Low tuned, dark and violent Texas death metal“. They’re preparing for the imminent arrival of their debut album “Ash Eclipses Flesh” via Dark Descent Records on 21st November having only formed the band this year. It helps that they have arisen from the ashes of  Malignant Altar of course but with “Pyre of Ash and Bone” now streaming and pre-orders available over at bandcamp it looks like it’s full steam ahead!

Multi instrumentalist Dobber Beverly comments: “I wanted to essentially have a super low tuned Celtic Frost guitar sound with a modern and large natural drum recording. Big room, big drum sounds. Tack on some cavernous low, Craig Pillard style vocals and bass guitar and you’ve got our sound. Disciples Of Mockery, Incantation, pre-2000s Morbid Angel; essentially older evil American death metal. Celtic Frost is a massive influence to all of us. From their primitive and violent beginnings to the ultra experimental and dark era of their later records. Lyrically the album follows a kind of dystopian downfall of humanity. Something crossing surreality and future outlook based off of current happenings. A race of mutant human corpses conquering and enslaving the earth.”
