It might be a little bit cheesy but Spanish Thrash champions Crisix have recorded a theme song for Spanish Metal festival Resurrection Fest entitled “This Is Resurrection Fest” to express their love for the annual event, a true home town throwdown for the band. It’s their first original material since their “American Thrash volume #1”
Including a Medley of Beastie Boys, Iron Maiden, Pantera and Metallica songs here’s a full pro-shot set from Spanish Pizza Thrash Metallers Crisix at Resurrection Fest in Spain last year. Their comic book cover style and compilation of covers that is a tribute to American Thrash is brilliant and recommended.

Barcelona Spanish Thrash Metal Champions Crisix are on the eve of releasing the first of a series of “Crisix Sessions” albums and have chosen “American Thrash” as the subject matter with 8 classic tracks from the likes of Anthrax, Exodus and Testament getting the full treatment. The album appears via Listenable Records on 8th November

Body Count’s European festival run this summer will see the band play London’s Koko on 12th June with support from Asteroid Boys and Crisix. The show will come after the bands performance at this year’s Download Festival.
