What’s in a name? Well for anyone who is aware of American Head Charge, their album “The War Of Art” may pop figuratively speaking into their head when they read the title of this debut EP from Chapfallen. A six-piece band with dual vocalists in Brad Rogers and Max Cottrell and a guitar duo in
London Metalcore quintet Death Remains have been a band we’ve followed since we first heard single “Blood Brothers” back in 2013. Since then they’ve thrown a pair of albums to the Wolves at their door and with a pair of singles appearing in the last six months (including the brilliant “Self Reflection” which has some
The fifth studio album in six years from Swedish Melodic Death Metal act Soilwork saw them following up the critically acclaimed “Natural Born Chaos” by introducing some Alternative Metal elements to their sound and broaden their horizons. At the end of March we reviewed the self titled EP from Belgian Metallers Sentre as they strived to resurrect a sound that falls neatly between In Flames and Killswitch Engage with the help of Matthijs Quaars Audio (Spoil Engine, Exhuminate) who recorded, mixed and mastered the effort. As all shows have been placed strictly on hold, the

He took the bait. Rami Vartiainen soon joined the fold to fill up the bass frequencies and with the
Filmed at Club Port in St. Petersburg Russia on 26th January 2008, here’s a full set from In Flames, who along with Dark Tranquility and At The Gates created the Gothenburg sound. For one of the pioneers of Melodic Death Metal, this show was the last run for their 2006 “Come Clarity” album.
In April 2019, Belgian Metallers Sentre released a pair of tracks recorded, mixed and mastered by Matthijs Quaars Audio (Spoil Engine, Exhuminate) and then… seemingly disappeared into the wilderness. The tracks were actually recorded in 2018 as Nick Lamote (Vocals), Dries Van Belle (Guitar, backing vocals), Jonas Delbecke (Drums) and Kristof Taveirne (Bass) went in
