Shrine of Malice vocalist Greg Gilbert has been seriously clocking up the guest appearances of late and this time he’s been tapped up Lebanon Oregon based Nu-Downtempo collective VileGloom for a brand new cut by the name “Fame Seeker“. The track is their first since last summer’s EP “Distrust“, which we reviewed a little bit ago.
Perhaps a new sub-genre of Metal is dawning with VileGloom calling themselves a Nu-Downtempo styled group. The Lebanon Oregon based group claim to fuse that classic eerie low and slow style with some newer groove elements and Nu-Metal introspective lyrics. Which is kind of what the Gloom sub-genre is all about. Not that sub-genres matter
One of the newer bands on our radar are VileGloom. Brining the thunder from the Pacific Northwest with a Downtempo Deathcore Groove that has got our attention. They’ve put out a video for “Worthless” from their six song EP “Distrust” via Chugcore Promotions for our viewing pleasure!
