The Black Map #100: Sertraline from Leeds (and Manchester)!

Formed back in August 2014 Progressive Tech Metallers with a Melodic edge Sertraline have spent the last 6 years playing shows with the likes of Ingested, Voyager and Butcher Babies while performing at the likes of Bloodstock Open Air in 2018, UK Tech-Fest in 2019 and BLOVE Festival to build their fanbase and establish a reputation. Originally getting together in Stoke-On-Trent and now residing in Leeds and Manchester, the five piece Lizzie (Clean/Scream Vocals), Mike (Guitar), Tom (Guitar), Hendo (Bass), Si (Drums) delivered their first EP in “Bury the Ghosts” in 2015 with a desire to, as Lizzie puts it “sound fierce on record and with a mesmerizing live performance“. Their sophomore EP “Guilty” appeared in 2017 to critical acclaim from the likes of Metal Hammer as RAMZine as they developed their sound, allowing it to define itself so a willingness to cross sub-genre boundaries in a single death defying leap within each song. Cranking up the riffs they’ve landed a new single “Inside Out” as a preview of their upcoming new material!
