NEWS: Desolator recite “The Great Law of the Dead”!

Treading the hallowed ground of the Swedish Death Metal scene for the past decade, Desolator have returned with their second album for Black Lion Records. “Sermon of Apathy” will mark their territory with seven tracks said to be the Frankenstein’s Monster of death metal, blending the aggression of the Stockholm sound with the creative and dissonant riffing reminiscent of the current US scene. They’ve dropped a second single in the form of “The Great Law of the Dead” which sees them joined by not only Oliver Palmquist of Phidion but also the legendary Karl Sanders from Nile

Desolator comments: “‘The Great Law of the Dead’ is the album’s closing track, an almost nine-minute dive into Lovecraftian horror, featuring an awesome guest solo by Nile’s Karl Sanders. It’s one of Desolator’s most ambitious tracks so far, and it’s an honor to have one of our musical idols play on it.”

Pre-orders for the record, out 4th September, are available here
