NEWS: Empyrean Fire set for “Deliverance”!

Another band yet to set the release date for an album are Portland Oregon Symphonic Black Metallers Empyrean Fire. What they have given us is a the cover art for “Deliverance” (original painting by Gustav Dore) as well as a single in the form of “Corruption“, which is available over at bandcamp.

Frontwoman Tricia Myers came up with the concept for the work of Empyrean Fire after reading both “Paradise Lost” and “Paradise Regained“, with single “Corruption” being the third chapter upon the debut album. The album is said to be a sinister take on Milton’s work, reshaping it with harrowing twists and malevolent revelations, each chapter a battle in the dragon’s ascent to gain command over Hell on Earth. Will you bow down in battle, sunken before the spear?
