NEWS: Rot want to test your “Spirit”!

A couple of days back, Twin Cities Metallic Hardcore quintet Rot dropped the first single from their upcoming debut album and follow up to 2019 EP “Nothing’s Changed“. The album, entitled “…As One” drops via War Against Records on 4th September with “Spirit” being the cut of choice and pre-orders being available here. It’s a totally DIY album with vocalist Arrold Walton handling production, engineering and mixing, while bassist Jake Watson co-produced, co-engineered and mastered.

“While the world continues to distract itself from core issues, we wanted to make a statement that people can’t ignore” says ROT vocalist Arrold Walton. “We write songs that talk about issues people need to wake up to, and sometimes it takes music to deliver that message and actually open people’s minds.
