Throwback: “The Grand Conjuration” from Opeth!

As our personal favourite Opeth album “Ghost Reveries” has reached the 15th Anniversary milestone it seems only right that we should celebrate with “The Grand Conjuration“. The Swedish Progressive Death Metallers eighth studio record and their first for Roadrunner Records was produced by Jens Bogren (Sepultura, Between The Buried And Me, Arch Enemy) and saw Per Wiberg contributing as permanent member of the group. If you watch the video for the only single of the album, you’ll notice the absence of drummer Martin Lopez. He was sick when the band shot the footage for “The Grand Conjuration” and so Gene Hoglan (Strapping Young Lad, Testament, Fear Factory) stepped in…
