NEWS: Every Hour Kills premier “Intransigent” and announce next EP!

Having previously called themselves “a constantly evolving musical collective” Calgary, Canadians Every Hour Kills have a new single “Intransigent”, the first taste of an EP called “Vacua” set for release on 8th October. While the band remains a rotating collective ensemble featuring the core of ex-Divinity and Enditol guitarist and producer Sacha Laskow, bassist Brent Stutsky (ex-Breach of Trust), along with vocalists Jei Doublerice (Despite Exile, Abiogenesis) and Jerrod Maxwell-Lyster (ex-Out of Your Mouth), the single boasts Calle Thommer of Vildjharta and Humanity’s Last Breath fame making a guest appearance. As if that wasn’t enough, the EP itself also sees Shadow Of Intent guitarist Chris Wiseman appear on a pair of cuts…

Guitarist Sacha Laskow comments: “This song was co-written with Calle Thommer (Vildhjarta, Humanity’s Last Breath), and is probably the heaviest thing I’ve ever written. He helped shape things in a more down-tempo direction, while I added in the synth layers and more melodic aspects, as well as the breakdown based on where his ideas were taking me. Jei [Doublerice] came in and absolutely crushed it with one of the most intense vocal performances on the record.
