NEWS: A Lie Nation set their sights on a scum filled summer!

It may only be approaching the end of April but this summer’s album releases are already beginning to be hinted at with Finnish Melodic Blackened Death Metal act A Lie Nation set to release their debut album “Sociopathology” on 1st July 2022 via Inverse Records. Some 5 years in the making it follows a pair of well received EPs in 2015’s “Human Waves” and 2017’s “Being Hate” and the first single “Scum” is available instantly with a pre-order over at bandcamp

Guitarist Jussi Tuomisto comments: “Scum represents a more straightforward in-your-face department of the “Sociopathology” album. The song is a hybrid in styles, it clearly has elements of melodic death metal with a sense of black metal. I think it represents well the energy that we are known for. Nothing extra, no painting of pretty pictures or dreamy atmospheres. Scum is a brutally honest, stripped to the core extreme metal song”

Vocalist Miikka Pyykkönen continues: “Lyrically Scum takes a stand on how politicians of today are more concerned about their public image rather than how their policies impact the very society they are supposed to represent”
