NEWS: Crooked Royals share Counterfeit notes?

Recorded and mixed by Zorran Mendonsa (Coridian) and mastered by George Lever (Sleep Token, Loathe, Thornhill), “Counterfeit” is the latest single from the upcoming 3DOT Recordings debut of Crooked Royals as they continue to unearth harmony from unpredictability by infusing Metalcore with moments of head-spinning off-kilter Prog, alternative melodies and even nocturnal trap R&B. It’s another one cut from their forthcoming album “Quarter Life Daydream” that will arrive on 21st October after the Auckland, New Zealand residents have finished a run of shows with Silent Planet having already completed one with The Plot In You.

The band comment: “The song is an argument with yourself about why we do things, observing other people’s motives, and how both sides of the coin make you feel and act. Which in eventuality should make you see you’re just as much a part of the problem as anyone else is, and all these perceptions should mean nothing.”
