Throwback: “Medieval” from Diecast!

It’s with heavy hearts that we dedicate today throwback moment to the memory of Diecast vocalist Paul Stoddard. After nearly two decades in the Boston Massachusetts Metalcore act which began in 2003 when he replaced original frontman Colin Schleifer, the news he passed away on Monday 24th October from Pulmonary Hypertension is an absolute tragedy. The band first came to our attention in 1998 with their “Undo the Wicked” album when Unearthed guitarists Buz McGrath and Ken Susi filled in  as live members of the group followed by opening slot for the Slayer God Hates Us All” tour in 2002, however it was 2004’s “Tearing Down Your Blue Skies” which saw Stoddard make his recording debut with the band. It was their debut with Century Media and later saw moment from their cut “Rise and Oppose” was licensed by Volkswagen Automotive and used in a TV commercial. So here’s “Medieval” from the record as we take a moment to remember a fallen brother who has been taken all too soon. May he rest in peace.
