NEWS: Tryglav premiers “The Evocation”!

A second burnt offering from Croatian Black Metal project Tryglav is on the way via Rockshots Records imprint label Extreme Metal Music on 17th February. The follow up to the 2019 debut “Night of Whispering Souls” is titled “The Ritual” and set in the 17th Century with all the music written by project mastermind Boris Behara. Vocals are entrusted to Callum Wright before mixing and mastering by producer Rocco Pezzin. The songs themselves began life in 2018 as part of Behara’s love for black metal and horror imagery, however have undergone several reworks before finally seeing the light of day, with with interruptions from the world pandemic and his personal health with two open heart surgeries. Here’s new single “The Evocation” to the the party started.

Tryglav comments: “I think “The Evocation” is a perfect song for live performance. If you want people to go crazy and wild. This is the one. It’s pure energy. It’s catchy, groovy, and wild plus… damn I love it!

This album has seen so many difficulties, but finally, after three long years, it’s here! I hope fans will enjoy it just as much as I created it! If they liked my first album ‘Night of Whispering Souls’ they’ll definitely like this one too. The formula didn’t change too much. It’s a black metal album full of different influences. The melody is still the central part of it”
