Playthrough: “Towards Infinihilistic Purity” by Carnosus!

Two weeks after the sighting of the UFO which is now known to be “Visions Of Infinihility” by Örebro Sweden based Technical Death Metal Carnosus, the band have allowed screamer Jonatan Karasiak out of the basement for a one take vocal performance of “Towards Infinihilistic Purity“. It’s the metaphorical equivalent of an hour in the prison yard after three days in solitary confinement.

Vocalist Jonatan Karasiak adds: “This is for sure one of the more challenging songs for me. Keeping the airflow fast enough to engage the perfect rattle of my false cord vocals and rolling R’s, yet hold it back enough to be able to go through some of the verse sections without many breathing spots… and fluently changing between false cord, fry and shout registers, occasional pitched yells as well as the interspersed pig squeal pinches all contribute to making this a fun, but challenging track to perform”
