NEWS: Exnun ask What’s Wrong With The Lobotomy Kid?
Taking its name from “The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death” which is a series of nineteen intricately designed dollhouse-style dioramas of actual murder scenes created by Frances Glessner Lee (1878–1962), a pioneer in forensic science, the second offering from Istanbul Extreme Metallers Exnun will see release on 9th June via Time To Kill Records. Mixing the ferocity of Hardcore Punk with the dark and poetic complexity of Extreme Metal, they’ve shared “What’s Wrong With The Lobotomy Kid?” as the first taste. As if that wasn’t enough, the album is recorded in Istanbul by the band before being mixed by Taylor Young (Suicide Silence, Vamachara, Drain) at The Pit Recording Studio and mastered by Brad Boatright (Poison Idea, Obituary, Mantar) at Audiosiege. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.
