NEWS: Stoneside share “Letters to the Afterlife”!

The mysterious Progressive Metal project Stoneside continues to hit singles out of the ball park with “Letters to the Afterlife” being the fifth waterfall released single from an as yet to be dated third album titled “God Of The Mountain“. The subliminal verses dictate it might not be all that long before the rural Texas based band let us get our greasy paws on it as their 2021 debut “The Water” and 2022 follow up “The Desert” both comprised seven cuts for seven deadly sins…

The band comment: “The fifth release off the record, God of the Mountain, Letters to the Afterlife tells the story of William C. who, after finally quitting smoking, was diagnosed with malignant carcinoma three weeks later. His wife and six children. stood by his side until the end. Upon his death, his wife Mary Louise went into a rage and tore up all the get well cards and flowers and pictures in his room. this song is for William. This song is also a shout out the heavens as we want to know why. As we go through stages of grief this song vents the arrow then moves into the anger experienced by many who have lost someone. to those who have lost someone or are fighting the battle yourself, this song is for you.”
