Throwback: “Shedding Shadows” from Elitium!

After a pair of EPs in 2012’s “Transcendent” and 2014’s “Ataxia” before vicious little ditty “Shedding Shadows” was released as stand alone in 2019 you could be forgiven for thinking that Portuguese Death Metallers Elitium were no longer alive. However they have quietly been sharpening their axes at the grindstone and have an album to offer as 2023 reaches summer heat. The recording process for that may have started as early as 2020 with the Great Plague Years (Trademark, Patient applied for) having no doubt taken it’s toll. Fortunately they’ve inked a deal with Gruesome Records for the release of “Wrong” on 19th May so here’s a little something from their past to give you something to whet your appetite…
