NEWS: Alfa Pentatonik announce “Gamma 1”!

After several false dawns the return of Finnish Industrial Metal outfit Pentatonik under the new moniker Alfa Pentatonik has been confirmed by new label home Inverse Records. They will be distributing EP “Gamma 1” later this year, a record created by a new line up born in 2022, more than two decades after the original band was created. The last man standing from that incarnation is multi instrumentalist JP Immonen, who is joined by vocalist Janne Partanen (Hautajaisyö, Marraskuun Lapset, Uhriristi) in this one with Harri Hytönen adding a guitar solo to new single “Korjattu Totuus” (or “Fixed Truth“) .

Alfa Pentatonik are currently making new songs and remaking old ones, in a newer, heavier and more Metallic style. As a new beginning the band released “Pelkojemme Perintö” (or “Legacy of Our Fears“), a hard hitting songs that takes inspiration from Rammstein and Ministry. The song tells about evolution and how it has made us who we are.

The band comment: “Our first new song (Pelkojemme Perintö) was almost like a tribute to older Pentatonik and now it’s time to kick up a gear and show more metallic style. ”Korjattu totuus” tells about propaganda and people who have unlimited power.”
