NEWS: Italians Magnitudo build monuments…

Including a guest appearance from Michele “Mike” Basso of Viscera/// Italian Sludge unit Magnitudo have announced the upcoming release of their new EP “Scotoma” for 22nd  September. While not described as a concept record, the four cuts have a common thread in “scotomization“. That’s the mental ability to delete and forget a trauma or an overwhelming event, the concept of exorcizing evil through various distractions – alienation, sex, death. The band’s new chapter, the follow-up to 2018’s “Men Against Fire“, was recorded, mixed and mastered by Danilo Battocchio, sound engineer known for his work with Tons and Imperial Triumphant among many others with “Monument” the first sample.
