NEWS: Mind/Knot double up with “Parasite… Perpetual Black”!

A juxtaposition between prudently traditional and brazenly unorthodox, Italian chaotic hardcore unit Mind/Knot make music that simmers and shimmers, flooding the senses in a fever dream of passion, violence and spectral mysticism. If you want to know what that sounds like then the band have given “Parasite… Perpetual Black” as a taste of from “Esigenza“, an album which drops on 1st September via Time To Kill Records. While their prior records were influenced by classic 80’s Hardcore bands like Black Flag, Minor Threat and Bad Brains this new record finds guitarist Roberto Cadau, who joined the band in 2021 bringing in a new range of influences and several mathcore, chaotic hardcore and noise punk elements. This has helped them embrace a more original sound, incorporating darker elements and unsettling tempos and metrics…

The band comments: “This speaks of the continuous struggle with our inner ‘Parasite’, representing our own darker and more primordial side, the side of ourselves that makes us give in to our most violent and self-destructive temptations“.
