NEWS: The Color of Rain premier “Cult Of The Cosmic Flood”!

If you’ve ever wondered what an eclectic soundscape of Post Black Metal mixed with Progressive and Technical Death Metal might sound like, well you’re in luck. 7th November will see the arrival of “Oceans Above” via Void Wanderer Productions, the debut record from a Pandemic born project called The Color of Rain who hail from The Netherlands. The brainchild of guitarist Gerhans Meulenbeld (Sad State of Decay, ex-Incission, ex-As Empires Fall) who is joined by Floris Velthuis (Asgrauw, Schavot, Meslamtaea, Sagenland) on both drums and bass alongside vocalist Devi Hisgen (Cthulhuminati, Teitan), the project is described as a sonic exploration of the cosmos, with compositions that take you far away from the dreadful nothingness that we call existence. Brutal and fragile “Cult Of The Cosmic Flood” is the first single from an album, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely in house with only artwork outsourced to Bram Bruyneel.
