NEWS: Verilehto announce “Kuoleman Siipien Havina”!

A tale of two Janne’s – Janne Tuikkala (Dawn of Everwinter, Muria, Alpha Noir, ex-Warceremony and ex-Strange Aeon) and Janne Partanen (Hautajaisyö, Alfa Pentatonik, Marraskuun Lapset, Paavalin Harhat).- joining forces in new project Verilehto has been announced by Inverse Records. The new entity will unveil an album titled “Kuoleman Siipien Havina” (or “The rustle of death’s wings”) via the label on 10th November with the first and only single “Alla Tähtitaivaan” (or “Down to the Starry Sky“) in preview. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comments: “Picking up the single from the record was both hard and easy, every song is strong at its own, but Alla Tähtitaivaan ended up being most versatile to show what to expect from the record. The lyrical content is about old tales / folklore of northern lights, how fallen warriors’ spirits lived in those lights – trying to lure people to join them.”
