An eclectic soundscape of Post Black Metal mixed with Progressive and Technical Death Metal forged in the forest of Valhalla, The Color Of Rain is the brainchild of Gerhans Meulenbeld (Sad State of Decay, Incission, As Empires Fall). Joined by coconspirators Floris Velthuis (Asgrauw, Schavot, Meslamtaea, Sagenland) and Devi Hisgen (Cthulhuminati, Teitan), together they have created “Oceans Above“, a sonic exploration of the cosmos, with compositions that take you far away from the dreadful nothingness that we call existence.
