NEWS: Dear Mother pour fuel on the fire!

In a celebratory mood after their debut album “Bulletproof” reached a million Spotify streams, Dutch Alternative Metal act Dear Mother have shared a new single titled “Wildfire“. Specialising in upbeat, bittersweet, downright dirty, electro-infused metal, the band have big plans ahead as the as yet undated and untitled EP to be released as well as a small number of headlining club shows in April 2024. As if that wasn’t enough they’re working on a sophomore album for a 2025 arrival!

Guitarist Merel Bechtold comments: “We initially wrote Wildfire for our first studio album Bulletproof, but we felt like it threw the album off balance with another mid-tempo song. But when we played the song live, it just felt good. Also we got great feedback from our followers, so it only makes sense to make it official and add it on the upcoming EP”
