NEWS: Sonus Mortis celebrate “Of Red Barren Earth”!

A celebration of the artwork of the album and the themes behind it, Sonus Mortis have shared a music video for “Of Red Barren Earth” the title track of album number seven. Exploring themes of corruption, dehumanisation, falsehoods, power imbalances, disillusionment with many societal structures, to challenge the norms and the narratives presented to us wrapped in Symphonic Blackened Death Doom, the album is now available in limited physical edition here.

Sonus Mortis comment: “”Of Red Barren Earth” is a song symbolic of a once fertile planet now barren and exploited. Loosely inspired by War Of The Worlds with the red weed – we are the red weed growing across the world with no control over it, being a cog in the wheel wondering what will become of this Earth.”
