NEWS: Apogean paint like Vincent van Gogh?

After the delights of 2021 album “Into Madness“, Canadian Technical Progressive Death Metal act Apogean have set their sights on loftier aspirations with a concept record which explores the dark side of technology, shedding light on its poisonous effects on our lives. Titled “Cyberstrictive“ and set for an 8th March 2024 via The Artisan Era, the new offering takes inspiration from Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and echoing the dystopian excerpts of George Orwell’s 1984, the album finds the band joined for the first time by new vocalist Mac Smith (who recently served as the live vocalist of Decrepit Birth) and also features a guest solo on “Bluelight Sonata” from Alex Baillie from Cognizance. “With Which Ear You’ll Listen” is streaming now with pre-orders available over at bandcamp.
