NEWS: Gates Open march through Winter!

Comprising multi instrumentalist Jere Neejärvi and vocalist Tommi Manninen, Finnish Blackened Death Thrash Metal duo Gates Open have shared a third single from their upcoming debut album “Voice After Silence” in “Gates Open“. The roots of band’s history go back to 2007 when they were both part of Down into Silence but Gates Open is very much a new breed of project. The album is set for a 9th February 2024 release via Inverse Records with “The Awakening” and “Let The Night Become Your Guide” already out in internet land for your listening pleasure, pre-orders are of course available over at bandcamp.

The band comments: “Today we live in a world where the majority of people only pursue their own interests, without caring about others and the environment. Mankind is blinded by its own greed. In the end, most people are willing to betray another person if the benefit to themselves is great enough. We dance with our own demons. We are consumed by our own sins. Fear, doubt and sins both gnaw the soul deep inside. The world is a stage, but at the end of the day we are just pawns in this big picture. But, you yourself choose your path.”
