NEWS: Anubis announce vinyl with details of new album “Dark Paradise”!
After announcing they’d inked a deal with M-Theory Audio for their debut album back in November, Los Angeles based Anubis have finally bitten the bullet and given us the details. Titled “Dark Paradise“, the record was produced by vocalist Devin Reiche and recorded at Notes From Underground Studios. Mixed by Josh Franks (Once Human, Railgun, Highland) and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Avantasia, Gamma Ray) in Finland, it will surface on 24th February with a limited run of 300 heartless purple vinyl editions available. That news comes with the obligatory new single in “Heartless“, alongside a video created by Scott Rudd (Opeth, Hammerfall). Joining Reiche in Anubis are guitarists Eleazar Llerenas (Delusional Fate) and Justin Escamilla (Tower Guard), bassist Will Buckley and drummer Robin Salazar (both formerly of Hydera). Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp
Vocalist Devin Reiche comments: “People who have been seeing us live for a while should be pretty familiar with this song. This has always been one of my absolute favorite songs of ours, and I can’t wait for more people to hear it as it was truly intended to be heard.”
Bassist Will Buckley adds: “’Dark Paradise’ marks our inaugural full-length album, and the anticipation is real! We believe this work strongly showcases our distinct blend of lightning-paced thrash riffs and resonant, memorable hooks that you’ve all come to expect from us. We’re beyond excited to unleash this adrenaline-charged experience straight to your ears, and soon enough to a venue near you!”
