NEWS: Jordsjuk prepare to journey to the last frontier…

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Norwegian underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. Known for their work in esteemed bands like Djevel, Nordjevel, Urgehal and Koldbrann, the trio have inked a deal with Indie Recordings for a debut EP titled “Råtner på Rot” (or “Rotting at the Root“) and go by the name Jordsjuk. Hailed in some parts as being the future of Black Metal, they combine fierce and primitive groove with introverted lyrics about mental burdens, doomsday, and the general discomfort plagues the human mind.
