NEWS: Anubis take one more trip to Dark Paradise?

Limited to 300 heartless purple vinyl copies, the debut album “Dark Paradise” from Los Angeles’ Anubis will drop on 24th February via M-Theory Audio. That makes this the perfect time for one last single before the grand unveiling and so the band have chosen “Priestess of Dark Paradise” for the purpose and shared their first proper music video, directed by Kenji Tsunami (Hatchet, Tegmentum, Apothesary).

Singer Devin Reiche comments: “Priestess of Dark Paradise’ is one from Justin’s [Escamilla – guitars] songs and given the Anubis treatment, i.e.; faster, shorter, more solos, and more vocal hooks. It’s about the toxic ex who you can’t stop yourself from longing after. For the music video we gave an open call to everyone in our community in order to get a bigger-scale result than what we could achieve on our own, and it’s the second time the community came through beyond all expectations. Everyone who shows up to our shoots always brings their metal A-game, and are what make these videos legitimately special

Bassist Will Buckley adds: “Dark Paradise’ marks our inaugural full-length album, and the anticipation is real! We believe this work strongly showcases our distinct blend of lightning-paced thrash riffs and resonant, memorable hooks that you’ve all come to expect from us. We’re beyond excited to unleash this adrenaline-charged experience straight to your ears, and soon to a venue near you!
