NEWS: Blighted Eye escape from the Wretched!

Comprising musicians known for their prior convictions in Aethereus, Mesmur and Pantheist hailing from the greater Seattle area who enjoy nothing more than exploring grief and loss in Progressive Blackened Death Metal, Blighted Eye have mentioned in passing that they have a debut album on the way. The news appears in the bands comments about their new single “In Enmity“, their first new material in four years, which combines eerie atmospheres with dark and macabre visuals.

The band comments: “4 years since their debut EP, BLIGHTED EYE have returned with a music video for their newest single, ‘In Enmity’. Filmed and directed by Karl Whinnery of the bands VINTERSEA and LIGATURE MARKS, the video juxtaposes the bands’ ferocious performance with the agony of loss. Both crushingly heavy and haunting, the song was mixed, mastered, and produced by Alex Sedin (WHITE WARD, ANACHRONISM) and is a portent of things to come from their soon-to-be-announced full length record.”
