NEWS: Slug Gore tag team in Fulci for “The Deadly Spawn”!

Escaping Ravenna Italy with their souls intact, Deathgrind merchants Slug Gore are preparing us for their debut album “They Slime! They Ooze! They Kill!” with “The Deadly Spawn“, a cut that features Fiore Stravino of Fulci fame. A growing concern since their arrival on the scene at the end of 2022, they’ve already shared stages with everyone from Carcass to Gatecreeper and show absolutely no signs of slowing down with the album set for a 19th April appearance via Time To KIll Records. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “The Deadly Spawn’ is a death metal track with violent tones, featuring riffs that range from aggressive power chords to slam rhythms, blast beats, and tremolo riffs. The song is a collaboration with Fiore, the vocalist of the band Fulci, who adds his brutal, tomb-like vocals to the piece, in true Fulci style. The lyrics are about the 1983 movie ‘The Deadly Spawn’, a cult classic in the horror genre”.
