NEWS: Rifftera crack the code?

Five years after the critically acclaimed album “Across the Acheron“, Inverse Records have announced the return of Melodic Death Metal masters Rifftera. 11th October will see the release of the EP “Coda” via the label, a four track affair which features a cover of the Iron Maiden classic “Moonchild“. From the record the band have selected “No Turning Back” as the first shot in the dark with pre-orders available over at bandcamp.

The band comments single: “No Turning Back is a bit slower song in our scale, but that just adds into the heaviness. The song starts with keyboards intro that reminds me of Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin anime & 80’s sci-fi. Then follows for example multiple killer riffs, a really catchy chorus and three solos. Because what kind of a song wouldn’t have three solos? Dark atmosphere, crushing riffs and some honey on top; that’s what No Turning Back is made from.”
