NEWS: Luusäkki premier “Statue in Uniform”!

It is said that the unstable atmosphere of 2022 gave impetus to the creative process that gave birth to Luusäkki, a Finnish one man project combining Black and Death Metal with ambient music. Mastermind Markus Sundquist comments: ‘”Statue in Uniform” is the second single from Luusäkki’s upcoming self-titled debut album. The album was written and recorded in Helsinki in the fall of 2022. “Statue in Uniform” combines the dark tones of black metal with the fury of death metal. The song addresses the harsh reality of conflicts and aims to depict the inhuman effects of war as well as the cyclical nature of human suffering. The imagery paints a picture of lost souls and identities.”
